KOMPAK Program
KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:
- Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
- Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
- Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.
The Opportunity
The Knowledge Management Manager will support KOMPAK in managing organization-wide knowledge management initiatives to ensure that KOMPAK's learning, practice, and approaches are captured, reported and strategically utilized in a user friendly way for a variety of purposes, internal and external, in a structured manner.
The Knowledge Management Manager will be supported by Knowledge Management Task Force.The Knowledge Management Manager reports directly to the Research & Evaluation (R&E) Lead and work closely with the Communications Team.

Key Duties
The Knowledge Management Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Strengthen Systems for Knowledge Management
- Review existing systems and building on what exists and what needs to be changed, put in place knowledge management systems and processes for gathering, managing and sharing knowledge across the program
- Work with implementation teams in ensuring effective process of collecting and disseminating lessons learnt from KOMPAK interventions, including improving information flows between units in national and sub-national level
- Manage knowledge creation on program learning and practice and package for internal and external purposes
- Support the R&E unit in designing and executing of learning component of analytical products within KOMPAK
- Work with implementation teams to collect, organise and support drafting of a range of knowledge products for the purpose of internal and external sharing
- Work with Learning & Development Coordinator to develop a knowledge sharing agenda and arrange knowledge sharing events within KOMPAK, including involving external parties
- Together with the communications unit to support the design and execution of advocacy plans for each team in national and sub-national levels; including the plan to held INSPIRASI in the first quarter of 2021
Key Requirements
- Master's Degree in Communication or other relevant studies
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
- Experience in designing program communication and knowledge management strategy
- Experience working with government officials at national, provincial and district level
- Proven ability to deliver high quality results on time
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English as well as well-developed interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Good team player
- Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion issues
