We currently have an opening for:
COASTAL RESILIENCE SENIOR MANAGER
Relationship Building & Partnership
• Establish a good relationship with stakeholders (donors, government, private sectors, NGOs, academics, and communities) to implement the program.
• Lead the preparation of reports, background materials, and other information for the government, donors, and other program partners.
Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
• Lead the development of aquaculture improvement programs to reduce GHG emissions and improve aquaculture productivity.
• Lead the preparation for a blue carbon project and aquaculture eco-certification.
Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction
• Conduct coastal vulnerability assessment and develop local and national regulations or policies for ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction.
• Develop a financing mechanism program for rapid post-disaster ecosystem restoration.
Supervising
• Develops TORs, drafts contracts for various consultant.
• Oversee consultant’s activities and performances.
The Coastal Resilience Senior Manager (CRSM) reports to the Director of the Indonesia Oceans Program and is based in Jakarta.
