Consultant's Team Whiteboard Animation for CREATIVE AND ACTIVE4FUTURE
Background
ChildFund International has been implementing child-centered programs in Indonesia since 1973. ChildFund works closely with Indonesian Government Institutions and contributes to the realization of Indonesia's social development plans. Through community-based, culturally grounded, bottom-up and participatory program approaches, ChildFund Indonesia partners with 16 local organizations in 31 districts across 8 provinces in Indonesia. We strengthen our partnerships with the communities where we work, empowering children, parents, community leaders, governments, and local partner organizations to promote long-lasting and sustainable social change.
Since Fiscal Year (FY) 2020, CREATIVE and ACTIVE4FUTURE has been designated as program model for Life Stage 1 and Life Stage 2 implemented by local community-based organizations in South Sumatera, Lampung, DKI Jakarta, Banten, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Yogyakarta and NTT. Meanwhile CREATIVE is intended for children < 5 years old utilising responsive parenting approach, ACTIVE4FUTURE addresses school age children, 6 – 14 years old, ACTIVE4FUTURE through positive parenting approach and provision of soft skills in Life Skills and Financial Literacy or Pendidikan Kecakapan Hidup dan Literasi Keuangan (PKHLK) program. In collaboration with 15 implementing partners, Child Fund International in Indonesia have been working to increase capacity and knowledge of parents, caregivers, and community facilitators at the same time conducting policy and budget advocacies from village to regency 's levels. In the next Fiscal Year (FY) of 2023, Child Fund International in Indonesia intends to upgrade its profile to reach out more stakeholders and upscale its impact from sub national levels. Therefore, there is a need to provide programmatic information with succinct and easy share format to reflect program processes, lessons learned, key messages and recommendations.
Purpose
Child Fund International in Indonesia is looking for team of consultant(s) to create and produce whiteboard animation(s) capturing both CREATIVE and ACTIVE4FUTURE programmes.The consultants will work with Program and Sponsorships Team especially who are responsible for CREATIVE and ACTIVE4FUTURE to conceptualize a solid storyboard and script, resulting in the delivery of a 7-10-minute animated video. The whiteboard animated video will be formatted in a dynamic and engaging manner through the creation of characters and a thematically appropriate storyline.
Scope of work
1. The consultant's team is responsible for working with Program and Sponsorships Team (CREATIVE and ACTIVE4FUTURE) to transform programmatic content into a dynamic animated video that appropriately captures key learning, which the Child Fund International in Indonesia has generated with appropriate staff.
2. The consultant's team will consult with Program and Sponsorships Team (CREATIVE and ACTIVE4FUTURE) in the initial, middle, and final phases of animation production to ensure product evolution is aligned with Child International in Indonesia policy and needs.
3. The consultant's team will be responsible for brainstorming, storyboard creation and scriptwriting in collaboration with the Program and Sponsorships Team (CREATIVE and ACTIVE4FUTURE)), character development, voice over, translation/subtitles (Englis), editing and final product.
4. This should be delivered within the agreed upon timeframe and based on required work and technical complexity (May 2022)
Deliverables:
The consultant's team consultant(s) should deliver whiteboard animation video in below programmatic themes:
CREATIVE (1 whiteboard animation video)
· Responsive Parenting
ACTIVE4FUTURE (2 whiteboard animation videos)
· Positive Parenting
· Life Skills and Financial Literacy or PKHLK
Requirement:
- Minimum 5-years-experience working with animation and video creation
- Proven skills in character animation, storyboard creation, animation direction, video editing, voice overs, subtitles
- Past performance in creation of dynamic animated videos – sample work from portfolio should be available
- Sound knowledge of most up-to-date professional animation software and programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Child Fund International in Indonesia on the video, incorporating content generated by the team
- Languages: English and Bahasa
