Know our team:
Nutrition International's Operations unit is a dedicated team of program implementation experts who are responsible for contributing to the overall management of NI's field operations in Asia and Africa. This position will provide technical leadership and develop the capacity to support the implementation of Adolescent Program interventions in the districts targeted by the Better Investment for Stunting Alleviation (BISA) project. This position will report to the Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP) and will support to design, implementation, management, monitoring, and reporting on the Project. This position will work closely with the Government of Indonesia, Save the Children (SC), donors, and other stakeholders to ensure engagement on the NI-supported BISA project.
About you:
You are a mid-level public health professional with a Master's degree in the following disciplines: public health, nutrition, medicine, health systems management, international development, and/or a related field including a medical degree. You are a nutrition expert with extensive experience in program management or have held such roles in the past and have experience in working with Adolescent programs in managing and implementing multiple projects to ensure high-quality programming in Indonesia. You have an excellent ability to develop internal and external partnerships and have collaborated with NGOs, UN agencies, etc. or similar organizations working on public health and nutrition-related programs.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible to support the Deputy Chief of Party with the following:
· Develop biannual and annual implementation plans in consultation with the BISA team, and, if necessary, with national, provincial, and district level government counterparts.
· Identify training needs/gaps of the health facility staff, health workers, health managers, high school teachers and project staff and propose capacity building measures to improve project performance.
· Facilitate procurement of IFA supplies for adolescent girls.
· Support in the design of the BCI strategy and interventions and development of BCI products for creating awareness.
· Coordinate and manage program activities including timely budget disbursements
· Advocacy and liaison with the government and relevant organizations.
· Overseeing the implementation of Adolescent-related activities and other activities are implemented according to plan, within the desired timeframe, and in line with the project design, meeting set targets.
· Implementing partners and contract management.
· Leading District teams to ensure program deliverables.
· Support periodic data collection and validation for monitoring and reporting.
· Field level monitoring and supportive supervision for field team.
