TERM OF REFERENCE  

GRAPHIC DESIGNER 

 

 

 

Médecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international medical and humanitarian, non-profit organization acting in accordance with the principles of humanitarian assistance, impartiality, neutrality, medical ethics and medical confidentiality, independent from any political, religious, military or economic authority  

 

In compliance with MSF's charter and based on an independent assessment of needs, MSF provides medical and humanitarian assistance to populations in distress without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender or political convictions, in the contexts of epidemics, endemic diseases, natural disasters and conflicts. The humanitarian and impartial nature of MSF's action and operational principles is recognized and respected by the Parties as a requirement for and condition of MSF's activities.

In Indonesia, MSF is working together with the Ministry of Health (MOH) based on a Memorandum of Understanding that started in 2018 and recently renewed until 2023. Currently MSF in Indonesia is working on Adolescent Health Care Program and Disaster and Health Crisis Management Program   in Banten Province and DKI Jakarta. 

 We are currently looking for an external consultant for Graphic Designer  

   

Main Objective:   

• Support the MSF Indonesia teams in designing and developing audio-visual materials (digital and printed) related to Communication activities as well as Health Promotion activities  
• Production of creative visuals for internal and external communications needs of MSF Indonesia OR 
• Provide the service to MSF Indonesia for designing graphic visuals (such as logo, social media posters, and other visuals needed  

  

Responsibilities & Deliverables   

The graphic designer works closely with partners to design, develop and create communication and publication materials. 

  

This includes supporting: 

1. Video production:    

• Use Adobe After Effects 
• Know a little about 3D 
• 
  

2. Design communication materials: 
   

• Brochures 
• Digital and Print   
• Training Manual 
•     

3. Print materials  
   

• Go to printer to print 
• Quality control   

 

4. Produce communication assets:   
   

• such as letter head, logo, etc 
• Maps, icons, infographics   

   

Consultancy Period and Work Location  

The Graphic Designer Contract period is maximum for 6 (six) months starting August 2022  

 

Requirement  

• Video production and graphic design skills   
• Have experiences in multimedia creation   
• Can use design software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effect, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop   
• Excellent communication skills   
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision   
• Consistently strives to deliver creative and engaging visuals   
• Great attention to details   
• Possible to travel to project location if needed
