Edu Farmers International Foundation was initially founded in 2015 and currently working on enhancing agricultural productivity for smallholder farmers in Indonesia while developing youth to become future talent in agriculture industry. Since our establishment, we have helped more than 1,370 youths and 6,295 beneficiaries.
Bertani Untuk Negeri is our flagship program, was first piloted in September 2020, and currently had scaled up to reach 400+ poultry, maize, and horticulture farmers and 200 youths per batch of implementation. In this program, we first create demo plot to inspire farmers to adopt best agricultural practice, and then mobilize, train, and develop youths as Farmers Development Associates (FDAs) to be an agent of change for smallholder farmers. We encourage the transfer of knowledge and technology through FDAs so that farmers are going to be able to adopt better farming practices, and thus improve their agricultural productivity and income.
In the coming years, we are planning to increase the reach of our program to more farmers and more commodities (e.g. cocoa, coffee, food crops, etc.), while also improving the quality of experience for farmers targeted by Bertani Untuk Negeri program. Therefore, we are looking for an Operations Analyst to analyze, iterate, design, and improve Bertani Untuk Negeri program operations to be more effective and efficient.

As an Operations Analyst, you will mainly work on designing and implementing better operational processes and work flow for Bertani Untuk Negeri program to transform smallholder farmers' livelihood. The details of the job will include, but might not be limited to the following:
· Design an effective and efficient Bertani Untuk Negeri process, especially during the on-the-ground Productivity Project phase.
· Gather insights from the field, analyze data and information to identify operational problems and future opportunities.
· Conduct continuous improvement on Bertani Untuk Negeri program.
· Create comprehensive operations workflow and Standard Operational Procedures.
· Manage farmers database and operations' team plotting to the farmers.
· Create concept for more impactful Farmers Field School (FFS) to improve farmers' knowledge.
· Create operational impact report in the end of every batch of Bertani Untuk Negeri program, including key findings and assessments
Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Husbandry, and other related fields.
· Minimum 2 years of experience as Operations Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role.
· Good understanding of on-farm business processes and operations.
· Good understanding of farmers' behavior and method of learning.
· Good understanding of project management techniques.
· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, have an ability to make a structure out of available information.
· Have a strong orientation to detail (as if an artisan) to deliver best work results.
· Have a can-do mentality to make something happen.
· Strong quantitative data analysis skills with Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools (e.g. Google Data Studio, Tableau).
· Ability to communicate concisely and clearly, especially to operations teams and farmers.
· Ability to work independently and resourcefully with minimal supervision.
· Ability to travel to other project site as necessary.
