Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial (Yayasan Hivos) is an Indonesian organization affiliated with Hivos, born out of an active collaboration between Netherlands based Hivos and several like-minded Indonesian academics and civil society leaders who subscribe to the values and mission of Hivos. Background
Yayasan Hivos, in collaboration with Just Southeast Asia, is now implementing a project under GEDI called Women's Voice and Leadership (WVL) is a multi-year supported by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), starting from 2019 until 2023. The goal of the project is to improve the enjoyment of human rights by women and girls and the advancement of gender equality in Indonesia. To implement the project, Yayasan Hivos and JASS collaborate with five (5) women's rights organizations (WROs) with strong legitimacy among their constituencies and the broader community: Rahima, Fahmina, Rumah KitaB, Perempuan Mahardhika, and FAMM Indonesia. This program supports women's organizations in 3 focus areas such as improving institutional governance for the sustainability of women's organizations, integrating feminist methodology in community organizing and advocacy, and increasing the effectiveness of women's networks to eliminate discrimination and harmful practices for women and girls.
In light of analyzing the current and future trends related to interlinkages issues such as gender equality, civic rights, and climate justice, Yayasan Hivos is currently hiring an individual or collective/company consultant to carry out a study to portray and have a better understanding of the past 3-years' trends and upcoming potential issues considering the upcoming general election at the national and provincial level to maximize the organizational direction and strategy in addressing needed the most.
Objective
1. To reflect the context/situation related to GEDI issues and other interlinkages issues such as civic rights and climate change over the past 3 years (2020-2022);
2. To map, project, and analyze the trend of GEDI issues and their relation to other crosscutting issues such as climate justice, digital rights, and access to basic rights, as well as others potentially arising over the next 3 years. This includes how We Lead's contribution influences the power dynamic in addressing the context;
3. To map and recommend opportunities on the key topics, approach/strategy, geographical area, potential actors, collaborators and partners related to GEDI and its cross-cutting issues for the next 3 years;
4. To lead and facilitate the dissemination process of the research result involving stakeholders, partners, and relevant institutions/organizations.

Qualifications and Experiences :
1. Good understanding, knowledge, and expertise on gender equality, social inclusion, as well as the interlinkage issues such as climate and digital rights;
2. Having experience in delivering the similar assignment for the above-mentioned issues;
3. Having knowledge of the Indonesian system and policy, as well as the donor landscape;
4. Having knowledge of the Global Affairs Canada' Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) and its Principle is an advantage.
