Yayasan Berkatindo is a local NGO conducting research on various issues, including but not limited to public health, environment, education, gender, sociocultural, communication, and livelihood. We seek like-minded professionals to join as full-time or part-time researchers for positions below.
Positions:
1. Senior Researchers (PIs or Co-PIs)
2. Junior Researchers
3. Interns
Responsibilities:
1. Senior Researchers (PIs or Co-PIs)
- Work with the research director to ensure research alignment with the Yayasan's core values.
- Lead the development of research design appropriate to the local context.
- Lead the preparation of research documents.
- Responsible for the research conduct and its completion.
- Ensure the study conduct aligns with the local, national, and international ethical conduct of human or animal subject research.
- Lead the research team in the preparation of data analysis, report writing, and results presentation to relevant parties and publications in academic journals.
- Assist the research director in the preparation of future funding or grant applications.
2. Junior Researchers and Interns
- Contribute to the development of research design appropriate to the local context.
- Contribute to the preparation of the research documents.
- Support the research conduct and its completion.
- Contribute to preparation of data analysis, report writing, and results presentation to relevant parties and publications in academic journals.
Qualifications
1. Senior Researchers (PIs or Co-PIs)
- A PhD degree in public health, education, social, economy, environment, law, and other fields.
- At least 5 years (PIs) or 2 years (Co-PIs) research experience.
- Published at least two papers (PIs) in academic journals.
- Advanced skills in quantitative and/or qualitative software.
- Written and verbal English skills.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy but also a good team player.
2. Junior Researchers and Interns
- A Master degree in public health, education, social, economy, environment, law, and other fields.
- At least 1-2 years research experience.
- Intermediate skills in quantitative and/or qualitative software.
- Written and verbal English skills.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy but also a good team player.
3. Interns
- A Bachelor degree in public health, education, social, economy, environment, law, and other fields.
- Interested in research.
- Basic skills in quantitative and/or qualitative software.
- Data collection skills such as interviewing.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy but also a good team player.
