REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

 

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has received loan from the World Bank toward the cost of Program to Accelerate Agrarian Reform (One Map Project) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for individual consultant service as Supporting Staff.

 

For the implementation of the Project and pursuant to the agreed terms under the financing, a Project Management Unit (PMU) was established and headed by the Project Director appointed by ATR/BPN supported by the individual consultants. PMU is responsible for the day-to-day management, operation and implementation of the Project. Project Implementation Unit (PIU) is located in 10 ATR/BPN Regional Offices (Kanwil) in 10 provinces (Riau, Jambi, South Sumatera, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, West Java, Central Java, and East Java). Related to that, to strengthen and support the project implementation, PMU will recruit Supporting Staff who will support the Project Management Unit.

 

Supporting Staff will be hired to support the Project Management Unit to deal with but not limited to support the coordination within ATR/BPN, especially at the office of Secretary of Directorate General of Land and Spatial Survey and Mapping on spatial data processing and management, report preparation, logistical arrangement, facilitate or coordinate activity, organize and mobilize input and substances on the Project. This will include, under the guidance of the Project Management Unit (PMU) Director, engaging in discussions (within ATR/BPN at the National, Province and District offices) and the World Bank.

 

The Supporting Staff will work together with ATR/BPN's relevant working units, the PMU Team and the World Bank's One Map Project team in dealing with operational, coordination, administrative, including but not limited to:

1.    Support spatial data processing in Program to Accelerate Agrarian Reform;

2.    Support visualization Risk Screening Data in Project Location;

3.    Support in updating data using applications (Tableu, Google Data Studio, Kobo Toolbox, Geo KKP);

4.    Support in logistical arrangement, facilitate or coordinate activity;

5.    Compile, maintain and present data in database and presentation on project related activities;

6.    Responsible in preparing meetings, minutes of meetings and follow up with relevant stakeholders;

7.    Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the PMU Director.

 

 

 

Supporting Staff will be engaged for full-time assignment and will be placed at the PMU office. The engagement is initially expected for 3 months (as probation period), and extendable based on needs. The assignment is expected to start in August 2023 until October 31, 2023 (3 months).

 

The Supporting Staff shall have the following minimum qualifications and experience:

1.  Minimum Bachelor degree in any major, preferably from geography/geodesy major (fresh graduate are allowed);

2.  Experience in operating application in Data Processing, GIS and Survey;

3.  Good command in spoken and written in English and in Bahasa Indonesia;

4.  Experience in Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel;

5.  Target oriented, willing to work long hours and travel to project sites and able to work independently under minimum supervision.

 

PMU of Program to Accelerate Agrarian Reform (One Map Project) now invites eligible individuals to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested individuals must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Individuals may associate to enhance their qualifications.

The individuals will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (current edition).
