We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position:

 

Position Title               : Communications & Knowledge Management Coordinator

Location                      : Yogyakarta
Contract Duration       : 12 months with possibility of extension

Expected start date    : As soon as possible

Salary                          : ASB offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Communications and Knowledge Management Coordinator is in charge of strengthening the visibility of ASB Indonesia and the Philippines (ASB). This position will also coordinate the visibility of ASB's projects implemented through local partners (including the DiDRRN and Global WASH programme partners, subject to funding availability). This position leads the development, delivery and monitoring of ASB's communications strategy. In close coordination with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager, this position supports the knowledge management implementation that builds upon the organisation's best practices to contribute to institutional learning and the strong programming portfolio of ASB.

Qualifications /Requirements:

1. Education: University degree in communications, journalism, public relations, international relations or a related field.
2. Experience: 2-5 years of relevant work experience in communications, public relations or related fields, preferably for NGOs.
3. Digital and social media proficiency: Experience managing an organisation's digital channels (website and/or social media).
4. Technical skills: Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as content management systems (CMS) and graphic design software.
5. Content creation: Proficiency in creating various types of content, including press releases, blog posts, articles, and multimedia content (graphics, videos).
6. Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
   
7. Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous communication projects, writing samples, or creative content may be required to demonstrate skills and experience.
