Senior Program Officer – Health: 1 position, based in Jakarta

CWS/Indonesia (https://cwsglobal.org/our-work/asia/indonesia/) is an international relief, development, and refugee assistance agency that has been operating in Indonesia for many years under an agreement with the Ministry of Social Affairs. CWS Indonesia is the field office of CWS, Inc., headquartered in New York. CWS assists the most vulnerable, regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. CWS works with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world.

Currently, CWS is implementing a UNHCR-funded program in Jakarta Greater Area that assists refugees and asylum seekers to access basic services such as health care and provides vocational training and education activity.

THE ROLE:

The Senior Program Offer – Health position is an essential position in the PURE program team. S/He is to lead implementation of health-related activities within the program and assist Program Manager for reporting and communication concerning any health issues for the projects. Health-related activities may include, but not limited to: communication with external party (e.g.: beneficiary, service provider, donor), health care financing plan, case management, health promotion. The incumbent will supervise up to 6 staffs and provide advice to other project staffs and CWS management. In addition, SPO Health will also assist the Program Manager and CWS Management in conducting research and write new project proposals for submission.
