Yayasan WWF Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. Yayasan WWF Indonesia is currently seeking the best candidate for the National Communication Specialist position. This position will be based in Jakarta, and report directly to the Communication & Education Manager.
This position will establish, design, and implement public campaign strategies for conservation-related issues, in accordance with WWF-Indonesia policies and procedures to contribute to WWF-Indonesia and ensure conservation messages and campaign strategies for consumer behavior change, policy advocacy, corporate involvement and public awareness through community groups, which are produced in the program are in line with each other to encourage and encourage changes on the production and consumption side.
Requirements for this position are:
- Minimum bachelor's degree (S1) or equivalent majoring in Communication, Public Relations, Media, Journalism, or other relevant studies.
- Minimum 5 years of campaign/communications experience, preferably in conservation campaigns.
- Excellent campaign and communication skills both direct and indirect.
- Excellent English written and spoken communication skills.
- Able to write popular writing
- Knowledge in promotions, marketing, social networking (community engagement), branding, and tagging guidelines.
- Knowledge and familiarity with sustainable development, natural resource management, forestry, agriculture, marine and fisheries, and energy issues.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to transfer skills, supervision, and network
- Should have a genuine interest in conservation and the work of WWF and be able to demonstrate behaviors aligned to our values: Courage, Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration; and culture within WWF: Strive for Impact, Listen Deeply, Collaborate Openly, and Innovate Fearlessly.
