SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
EU Fora Asia is a 3-year technical assistance project that aims to position the European Union conductively in and with Asian partners at a time of numerous regional and global geopolitical changes.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Cowater International is looking for a regional expert in charge of publishing/distributing information about EU-related topics, as well as content related to its actions with multilateral Fora in Asia. The contents and materials produced are intended for dissemination by media /influencers/social media/at events. Another important topic is the countering of disinformation about the European Union in the region.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and skills
- Master's degree or equivalent diploma or experience in communication, journalism, public relations, media, or other relevant discipline.
General professional experience
- at least 7 years of post-graduate working experience in the above-mentioned areas.
Specific professional experience
- at least 6 years of post-graduate working experience in multilateral fora/international organisations or diplomatic missions.
- excellent spoken and written English.
- excellent writing skills to produce content for both traditional and social media.
- proven ability to exercise quality control, including proofreading and editing, of communication collaterals, and supervising the work of contractors/experts.
- proven experience in media relations.
- basic skills in graphic design are an advantage.
- working experience with ASEM, ASEF, the ARF, or ASEAN is an advantage.
- working experience with the European Union is an advantage.
