Yayasan EcoNusa is a non-profit organization that aims to enhance various local initiatives of Tanah Papua and Maluku at national and international levels to provide support for sustainable management of natural resources in Indonesia. EcoNusa Foundation encourages the development of the capacity of civil society organizations to conduct advocacy, campaigns, communication, stakeholder engagement, and dialogue among stakeholders to meet the sustainable management of natural resources and promote transparency, conservation, and equality values. To achieve its mission, EcoNusa carries out several programs including Local Community Resilience, Policy Advocacy, Eastern Indonesia Communication Center, Local Economic Development, and Youth Environmental Leadership.

 

The Yayasan EcoNusa is looking for competent, dynamic, multi-tasking Business Development and Operations to support the development of social enterprise and community economics in Eastern Indonesia.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Business Development and Operations responsible to support us who are currently developing social enterprises that support local product and economic development in eastern Indonesia, focusing on local agricultural, fisheries and tourism products. This position will support the Chief Executive Officer of EcoNusa to accelerate business development strategies and work with and support companies that have been formed by the EcoNusa in business development, sustainability and providing the expected positive impact to local, indigenous communities and nature.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Contract Management: Prepare, review, and summarize business documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.

·      Project Management: Work closely with the Business Development, Design & Build, Operations, Marketing and Finance department to ensure respective projects or new project business are delivered in timely and effective manners.

·        Business operation support: Handle inter-business unit liaisons for matters pertaining to maintaining finance performance, business license, insurance, and operations related matters.

·        Liaison with the local authorities and coordination with other partners and consultants if necessary.

·        Approaching, pitching, negotiating, and maintaining potential partners.

·        Assist in organizing and tidying the Master File and hardcopy documents filing with accurate and relevant information.

·        Involve conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities.

·        Involve developing sustainability and impact strategy.

·        Support the creation of business proposals and presentations.

·        To perform every other duty as assigned by superior or management to meet organizational needs.

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES

  • Min bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, marketing, sustainability, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and business development.
  • Knowledge of marketing, supply chain and sustainability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An interest in the community enterprise, cooperative, local commodity, and a desire to contribute to its growth.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills to engage and influence.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Highly dependable and trustworthy, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in managing changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong work ethic and commitment to Meeting deadlines.
  • Domiciled in Sorong/Ambon is preferred and willing to travel outside the work location.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Internal         : Working closely with the Business Development Team and collaborating with all  units in EcoNusa.

External         : Coordination  with relevant parties such as vendors, partners, buyers, etc.
