YCAB Foundation (1999) is the founding and flagship organization in the YCAB Social Enterprise Group, which bases its operations on a mutually reinforcing and financially sustainable social change model.

YCAB Social Enterprise Group which includes several for-profit entities that offer products and services to emerging consumers including mission-driven microfinance to low-income women entrepreneurs, conditional upon their child enrollment to school.

YCAB's change model has one clear mission which is to improve welfare through education and innovative financing. YCAB aims to vitalize underprivileged youths to become self-reliant through economic empowerment and education, bringing them from mere subsistence to sustainable livelihood. YCAB believes in the power of education to improve welfare. To date, YCAB has brought impact five millions underprivileged youths and hundreds of thousands of low income families.

YCAB is now exploring ways to implement the last link in its change model, that is, to create a sustainable system whereby students who graduate and become entrepreneurs or employed can pay it forward. They do this by giving back or investing in capital market products to help grow and scale YCAB's mission-driven microfinance so that YCAB can empower even more youths to take control of their own destiny.

Responsibilities

Develop monitoring and evaluation procedures (Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plan).
Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success.
Monitor and evaluate the overall progress achievement of a program.
Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
Support project teams in report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project indicators and activities to the Project Manager.
Provide inputs, information and statistics for monthly quarterly, annual or other reports to Project Management Team.
Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Manager in preparing relevant reports
Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project.
Assist in coordinating across the available components of the Project to ensure effective implementation of M&E/MIS.
Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
Do a (supervision) periodically to the collection and management of data based on quality standards .
Manage overall research, M&E activities (project & operational).
Analyze research and M&E results to support program sustainability.
Conduct planning and management of research and M&E activities.
Support the research, monitoring and evaluation team in all RME activities, such as reviewing logical framework, reviewing RMEL Plan and indicators, reviewing tools, reviewing database reviewing data analysis data and reviewing reports.

Requirements

Bachelor, any degree
Having a minimum 7 years of experience in the field of monitoring & evaluation/ research.
Experience in design and implementation of research, monitoring & evaluation in development implemented by national/international NGOs.
Experience in designing tools and strategy for data collection, analysis and production reports.
Proven ICT Skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software.
Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software
