Job Overview
The Operations Officer will be responsible for overseeing finance, accounting, office operations, and administration. A solid understanding of Indonesian tax calculations and experience in dealing with tax matters will be highly advantageous.
The ideal candidate shall be an organized and driven operations officer that will effectively support policy development and increase efficiency of operations for our organization. He/she must be self-driven with professional interpersonal skills and an understanding business intellect.
Key Responsibility
1. Finance
- Manage the company's financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
- Assist the line manager on financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- •Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
2. Accounting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll, and conduct payment processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
3. Office Operations
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and professional working environment.
4. Administration
- Handle administrative tasks, including correspondence, filing, and document management.
- Support HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee records maintenance.
- Manage and maintain company databases and records.
- Provide administrative support to the executive team as needed.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required.
5. Tax Compliance
- Understand and apply Indonesian tax regulations to the company's financial practices.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local tax laws.
- Liaise with tax authorities and handle any tax-related inquiries or issues.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes and manage tax planning strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's or diploma's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations roles.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Good in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus
