The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a German implementing organization which provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. In Indonesia GIZ has been working since 1975 with the country office located in Jakarta. 

GIZ has undertaken a fundamental transformation towards integrated solutions with digital transformation and implementation excellence as key concepts to adapt to the ever-changing global and regional landscape. Integrated solutions enable the company to contribute to regional and international changes more effectively and efficiently while at the same time supporting the Indonesian government to achieve Indonesia's Vision of 2045. As a result, GIZ is making processes more efficient and providing services more effectively. 

The Management of GIZ Indonesia has set the target to align its diverse portfolio with a total annual volume of €69 Mio. (2023), consisting of a variety of clients through the core areas of the Indonesian-German development cooperation:

·         Protecting life on Earth – environment & natural resources
·         Training and sustainable growth for decent jobs
·         Cooperation beyond the core areas  

We are seeking 1 (one) qualified Indonesian candidate for the following position:

 

Trainee for Human Resource Unit

 

  1. Responsibilities 

The incumbent will be assigned to Human Resource Unit in the GIZ Country Office in terms of organizing and filing personnel file.

 

  1. Tasks 

In carrying out his/her role, the incumbent will be doing the tasks as follows:

  • Scanning all the hardcopy files
  • Arrange the files in the TEAMS to be in line with the structure in DMS
  • Re-name the files in TEAMS to be in line with GIZ internal regulations
  • Re-arrange the current hardcopies to be in line with GIZ internal regulations
  • Performs administrative and other tasks relevant to the job or organization units when the need arises.
  • Participates in team tasks and other corporate entrepreneurial or strategy-linked endeavours.
  • Any other task that assigned by Head of HR

C.     Required qualifications, competences, and experience 


Qualifications

·       Final year student / fresh graduate bachelor's degree or Diploma III in secretary, administration, public relations, communication, tourism, or international relations. 

Competency Requirements

  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Capability to work independently and in a pro-active way.
  • A focused-on detail and organize.
  • Ability to work in a team and to adapt to an international working environment.

Other knowledge, additional competences

  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, Teams and MS Access would be of advantage). 

Please note that you can only apply for this traineeship if you are currently enrolled as a student, or your graduation was no longer than six months ago. 

Duty Station: Jakarta
Working Hours: 5 working days per week, 8 working hours per day
Expected Joining Date:  1st September 2024
Period of Traineeship: 6 months
Direct Supervisor: Head of HR
