Background
Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Indonesia Country Program, is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) supporting relief and development work in over 100 countries around the world. CRS programs assist people because of need, regardless of creed, ethnicity or nationality.
CRS has been supporting program activities in Indonesia since 1957 under the Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Social Affairs. The Indonesia country program focuses primarily in the areas of community development, humanitarian assistance/emergency response, disaster management, climate change adaptation and agricultural livelihoods, as well as capacity building for local partners in emergency response programming.
As part of our employee benefits program, we are seeking comprehensive Medical and Life Insurance services for our staff to ensure adequate healthcare and life protection for all eligible employees and their dependents.
Purpose
The purpose of this request is to solicit proposals from qualified insurance providers that can offer comprehensive medical and life insurance coverage to our employees. The selected provider will offer a wide range of health benefits and life insurance coverage that aligns with the needs of our staff and the organization's budget.
1. Health Insurance Package and Coverage
a. Medical Insurance Coverage with IOP 1200
- Comprehensive health insurance for all full-time employees and eligible dependents (spouse, children). This includes covering outpatient services and inpatient services.
- Maternity care, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal services.
- Coverage for pre-existing conditions after a specified waiting period (if applicable).
- Emergency medical services, including ambulance and emergency room care.
- Mental health and wellness services, including counseling and therapy sessions.
- Vaccinations and preventive care services.
- Chronic illness management and follow-up treatments.
- Prescription drug coverage.
- Medical evacuation or repatriation services, if necessary.
- Etc.
b. Life Insurance Coverage up to 75 million
- Comprehensive life insurance coverage for all full-time employees.
- Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage.
- Etc.
Health Insurance Period
The Insurance period is 12 months from November 4th, 2024, until November 3rd, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
CRS Indonesia is seeking Insurance provider with the following criteria:
· Licensed and authorized to operate in Indonesia
· Has medical and life insurance program with competitive benefits
- Previous experience working with non-profit organizations or similar entities is preferred.
- Financially stable and rated positively by independent insurance rating agencies.
· Has wide hospital and health center network across Indonesia and overseas
· Customer care services 24/7
· Cashless system, swipe card and electronic reimbursement method with apps is preference
· Appointed account officer to support the customer care
Proposal Requirements
Interested bidders are requested to submit a proposal that includes the following:
- Company profile and relevant experience in offering Medical and Life Insurance services.
- Detailed description of the proposed medical and life insurance coverage and benefits.
- Terms and conditions of the insurance policies, including exclusions and limitations.
- Policy duration and renewal process.
- Claims process and customer support availability.
- Implementation timeline.
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
· Cost competitiveness and affordability of the premiums.
· Comprehensiveness of the coverage offered.
· Quality and reliability of customer service and claims management.
· Experience and reputation of the insurance provider.
· Flexibility and willingness to accommodate the organization's specific needs.
· Feedback from references.
