Job Title: Finance and Administration Officer
The Habibie Center is expanding and developing programs of P/CVE and Social Cohesion. As part of this endeavor, finance and administration officer will be required to fulfill responsibilities to:
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipt, and journals relating to cash transactions against approved project budget;
- Perform financial transaction and administrative tasks, including carrying out proper documentation process of the financial transactions and filling finance-related documentation;
- Assess and ensure project expenses against approved project budget;
- Draft report on the implementation of project activities and expenses on a regular basis;
- Draft tax report;
- Ensure all supporting financial and administrative documentation are available, as per the compliance from the project donors;
- Establish and maintain communication with domestic and international donors, and other related parties in regards to the project activities and implementation;
- Prepare financial reports for external audit;
- Ensure both home organization and donor's policy on finance and administrative process has been followed; and
- Support financial capacity building for partners
- Undertake other finance and administrative tasks, if required to facilitate the running of accounting and project activities.
As part of the project team, The Habibie Center plans to hire one finance and administration officer for the P/CVE and Social Cohesion program
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Duration: Initial 12 months contract with potentially extended annual contract based on performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or vocational degree in management and accounting majors, with minimum 3-years experience;
- Demonstrate knowledge on Microsoft Office, internet and other computer applications;
- Strong knowledge on budget planning & management, financial analysis, and taxes;
- Experienced on the aspect of compliance on home-organization and donor's financial framework;
- Experienced in managing of lead consortium budget is an advantage;
- Have experience in handling Finance Admin for Project under USAID, EU or other international donors, is an advantage
- Proficient skill on report writing;
- Good command on both spoken and written English;
- Demonstrate integrity, responsiveness, professional discretion, and ability to interact & communicate effectively with diverse partners;
- Solid team work capability and able to exhibit honesty/precision/orderliness in carrying out finance and administration-related tasks; and
- Accustomed to work under specific plan and targets.
