Yayasan Indonesia Cerah ("CERAH") is a non-profit organization established in 2018. The organization focuses on the issues of clean energy and the environment. CERAH promotes the narrative of shifting Indonesia's policy in energy transition as a leader in providing strategic communication to amplify key messages in the narrative of clean energy and its transition in Indonesia, cultivating and enhancing stakeholder engagement and providing recommendations to policymakers.
CERAH has been collaborating with multiple stakeholders and prominent figures, the media, and civil society organisations to educate and raise awareness, highlighting issues such as good governance and corruption, air pollution and the health impact of energy choices and renewable energy future and how that affects lifestyle and jobs.
CERAH will implement the Just Transition Strategic Communications Project. The project aims to strengthen a "Just Energy Transition" narrative in Indonesia based on transparency and inclusive participation and focusing on the green transition's environmental, financial, social, and technical aspects. To achieve this goal, the project will develop an evidence-based framing that can help facilitate discussions and public discourses. Moreover, the project will support the capacity building of communities, civil society organizations, and media, making it easier for them to engage with multiple parties and have a more significant impact
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Develop and schedule content for various social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Monitor and engage with our audience on social media channels.
Provide insights and ideas for copy, visuals, content formats and hashtags based on the latest trends, and maximise the features available in TEB.ID's social media platform.
Analyze and report on social media metrics and performance.
Content Creation:
Curate Editorial Plan and create weekly digital asset for TEB.ID's Instagram
Collaborate with the project team to ensure content aligns with our messaging and goals.
Digital Campaigns:
Assist in the planning and execution of digital campaigns to promote our initiatives and events.
Track and analyze campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Host the TEB.ID series of live instagram (with Project Manager)
Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on digital trends, tools, and best practices.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve our digital strategy.
Monitor and actively engage with comments across all social media platforms, responding to at least 80% of queries and comments and DMs within 24 hours of posting.
Support Events and Webinars:
Help organize and promote online and offline events, webinars, and workshops of TEB.ID
Assist in technical setup and troubleshooting for virtual events.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the communications and program teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback.
Keep updated, sharpen knowledge, and contribute to the team on Indonesia's path to renewable energy, green economy, and the environment.
Other task(s) assigned by the Project Manager
Requirements:
Candidates must have a passion for researching a diverse range of interrelated issues.
Candidates with at least 1-2 years of experience in the related field, preferably with a digital editorial focus on energy and climate topics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Genuine interest in energy transition and climate crisis mitigation.
Enthusiasm for working in a non-profit environment
Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
Have good organizational skills and work with a global network with the ability to work remotely under minimum supervision.
Duration and Fee:
The position will hold a fixed-term contract of 3 (three) months with possibility of extension based on performance. The remuneration is a lump sum based on qualification, competency, and salary history.
