We collaborate and develop partnerships with the Government, international organizations, and local organizations in providing technical assistance and developing effective, efficient, innovative, and sustainable TB control strategies.

Currently, Yayasan KNCV Indonesia is looking for a:


Data Officer

Duty Station: Makassar, Indonesia

 

The Data Officer will be responsible to provide support on high quality, valid, and standardized data in accordance with established guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Data Analysts, TB officers at the provincial and district/city levels, as well as health service providers, to ensure daily ESO monitoring data for all patients is reported completely and promptly in the RO TB.01 book and SITB system. Daily ESO reporting must be completed within a maximum of 15 days after the incident is identified by health personnel.
  • Coordinate with Data Analysts, TB officers at the provincial and district/city levels, as well as health service providers, to ensure all serious ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) data is reported completely and promptly in the SITB system. Serious ADR reporting must be done immediately within 24 hours after it is identified. Any new data or information must be promptly recorded, reported back into the SITB system, and finalized.
  • Coordinate with Data Analysts, M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) Officers, and YKI Technical Officers in collecting, validating, and analyzing data on ADR/ESO, serious ADR, treatment outcomes, and project implementation achievements in the operational areas based on established indicators.
  • Collaborate with Technical Officers to conduct on-the-job training on active MESO for intervention healthcare facilities in the ASCENT DR-TB project area.
  • Coordinate with Data Analysts, M&E Officers, and Technical Officers in preparing regular reports related to the implementation of the ASCENT DR-TB project based on established project indicators, as well as other reports as needed.
  • Record all activities conducted during visits to healthcare facilities.
  • Maintain the completeness and confidentiality of the data sources used.
  • Provide support in project implementation activities to deliver quality technical assistance to supported healthcare facilities.
  • Identify potential issues and provide recommendations to the ASCENT DR-TB project team on necessary corrective actions, follow up on those actions, and prepare a brief report on findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and institutions.
  • Facilitate discussions related to ASCENT DR-TB project activities with stakeholders at the provincial or district/city levels by coordinating/consulting with the project coordinator.
  • Perform other duties assigned by YKI.

 

Qualifications and Competencies: 

Educational Qualification:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field of health (medicine, nursing, or public health).
  • Experience in using health information systems (such as SITB) will be an advantage.

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years working experience in public health/medical science or management preferably in health/TB control program.
  • Experience in providing support to healthcare workers, especially related to TB.
  • Experience in collecting and managing health data, particularly related to TB.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
