Job Highlight
Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operational management, and overall success of the company's sustainability and environmental projects. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of sustainability practices, strong business acumen, and the ability to forge meaningful partnerships with stakeholders.
The post holder is also responsible in designing corporate strategy, including strategies for obtaining projects for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company's overall operations. They oversee several elements in a business,including hiring staff, operating budgets, and launching price promotions that could attract more customers.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and goals for sustainability and environmental initiatives.
- Lead the formulation of long-term plans and objectives in alignment with the company's mission and values.
- Reading market conditions, identifying opportunities, and overcoming challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain the company's competitive edge
- Marketing's Engagement
- Analyzing market trends and customer needs, monitoring company growth and setting marketing gols.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company's services and projects.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, digital content, and communication campaigns.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, private sector partners, and local communities, to build strong relationships and foster collaborationStakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Business Development
- Formulate and Set business goals and growth plans corporate.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Develop offers and proposals for potential clients and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and partners.
- Ensuring client satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and agreements to support the company's growth and sustainability goals.
- Project Management
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of sustainability and environmental projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Formulate, implement and ensure projects run according to plan, each project achieves the set targets.
- Coordinate the work of all projects.
- Lead the management team and ensure employees are motivated and productive.
- Operational Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all activities.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance operational performance.
- Maintaining operational productivity.
- Formulating, ensuring and implementing corporate strategies.
- Providing solutions to problems.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
- Responsible for achieving the company's revenue target.
- Create strategies to control costs, minimize waste of resources.
- Can make quick but strategic decisions.
- Oversee fundraising efforts, grant applications, and other revenue-generating activities.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports for the Board of Directors, and implement corrective actions as needed.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managing team within the sustainability or environmental sector, with a focus on Business Development, engagement, and business
- Proven track record of successful project management and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team towards common goals.
- Ability to understand various aspects of business and market trends.
- Analytical skills in problem solving and making the right decisions.
- Financial acumen and experience with budget management and fundraising.
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to driving positive environmental change.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
