Key Responsibilities:
- Community Mobilization & Engagement
- Facilitate outreach and awareness sessions in target villages to introduce project goals and activities.
- Build trust and relationships with community members, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
- Support the formation and strengthening of community groups such as MSME associations, Pokja PUG (Gender Mainstreaming Working Groups), and water management committees.
- Facilitation of Trainings & Learning Sessions
- Organize and co-facilitate training sessions on entrepreneurship, digital literacy, water and sanitation, and inclusive governance.
- Coordinate mentoring sessions and peer learning activities among MSME groups and local champions.
- Ensure training venues are accessible and inclusive, and that materials are culturally appropriate.
- Support for Infrastructure & Livelihood Activities
- Assist households in the installation and maintenance of greywater recycling systems, rainwater harvesting units, and other climate-resilient infrastructure.
- Monitor progress of kitchen renovations and ensure community contributions (sweat equity) are documented.
- Provide technical and logistical support during construction and installation phases.
- Inclusive Governance & Advocacy Support
- Facilitate the establishment and functioning of Pokja PUG and thematic Musrenbang forums.
- Support community members in preparing proposals and advocacy campaigns for village development planning.
- Promote meaningful participation of marginalized groups in decision-making processes.
- Monitoring & Reporting
- Collect field-level data and feedback from beneficiaries to support MEAL activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and progress of community groups.
- Report challenges, successes, and recommendations to the Project Output Coordinator and MEAL Officer.
- Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with partner organizations (SAPDA and SPEK-HAM) and village governments to align activities.
- Participate in joint planning, monitoring visits, and quarterly program quality meetings.
- Represent Habitat Indonesia in community forums and stakeholder meetings as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Community Development, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community organizing, preferably in rural development or housing programs.
- Experience working with marginalized groups and facilitating participatory processes.
- Familiarity with gender equality, disability inclusion, and climate resilience concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic understanding of infrastructure and WASH systems.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; Javanese language proficiency is an asset.
