Yayasan Nurani Luhur Masyarakat (YNLM), an Indonesian civil society organization based in Medan, has been implementing projects in Lombok and North Sumatra, focusing on mother, Child and Mental Health. The project aims to contribute to enabling people to improve their living conditions and their communities' living conditions.

Currently, YNLM is accepting applications for the following positions related to its project:

 

PROJECT COORDINATOR

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Program Implementation & Quality

  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Organizze and coordinate project implementation in the field
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (government, NGOs, and health facilities)
  • Identify potential issues or risks within the project and suggest proactive solutions.
  • Review modules and materials for training needed
  • Review and approval TOR from project staff
  • Support community outreach activities, such as info sessions, participatory workshops, or trainings, ensuring community voices are integrated into project planning

 

Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in the program.
  • Facilitate communication between different teams, partners, and clients to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and updates on program progress to leadership and stakeholders.

 

Logistical Support

  • Oversee day-to-day project operations and ensure they run smoothly.
  • Maintain detailed records of project activities, schedules, and expenditures.

 

MEAL

  • Works closely with the M&E Specialist to align project activities with expected outcomes, ensure data-driven decision-making, and support results-based reporting 
  • Monitor the performance of project activities and ensure that all objectives are being met.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness and outcomes of the project.
  • Provide recommendations for project improvements or adjustments based on evaluations.
  • Arrange internal capacity building for project staff in collaboration with Program Manager and management

 

Budget and Resource Management

  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
  • Ensure that resources are used effectively and that the project adheres to financial constraints.
  • Track project expenses and report any deviations from the budget to Program Manager

 

Team Collaboration and Support

  • Collaborate with various teams within the organization to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide administrative and support to project staff as required in collaboration with support unit
  • Organize training or orientation sessions for team members involved in the project.

 

Compliance and Reporting

  • Prepare regular project progress reports (Monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annually)
  • Ensure that all activities within the project comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for PM and other stakeholders.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as liaison with district stakeholders —local government offices, community leaders, CSOs, private-sector partners—to foster collaboration and ownership
  • Build and maintain networks, keeping updated contact lists of local counterparts and facilitating formal communication and advocacy efforts

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree of Public Health/Nurse/Health Background/Social Development or equivalent in related field or supporting work experiences
  • Prior experience community based health project, M&E and administrative or program support roles
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in community/social development
