Position Summary
The One Health Laboratory Strengthening Advisor will lead the laboratory capacity building work to serve the Global Health Security Agenda to support the Indonesia government and their relevant ministries in strengthening animal and human health laboratory systems.
The Laboratory Advisor will have both administrative and technical responsibilities. The administrative responsibilities include managing assignments, the associated staff including those of any partners, logistics and budgets.
The technical responsibilities include implementing Biosafety/Biosecurity standard operating procedure (SOPs), training, mentoring, and supervision of testing quality management systems (QMS), supporting data analysis and data sharing between animal health and human health laboratories and After-Action Reviews (AARs) on laboratory readiness.
Most of the work will be remote with frequent travel to locations across Indonesia especially Jakarta and Yogyakarta.
