Background
Women's Voice and Leadership (We Lead) is a multi-year project initiated by Hivos Southeast Asia and Just Associates (JASS), and funded by the Global Affairs Canada (GAC), starting from 2019 until 2023. To implement the project, Hivos and JASS collaborate with five (5) women's rights organizations (5 WROs) with strong legitimacy among their constituencies and broader community: Rahima, Fahmina, Rumah KitaB, Perempuan Mahardhika, and FAMM Indonesia. The goal of the project is improved enjoyment of human rights by women and girls and the advancement of gender equality in Indonesia.
During the 1st year implementation, Hivos produced a series of guidelines and protocols to support the program implementation, communication direction and strategy, and the consortium members' safety and security. For dissemination purposes, Hivos will recruit a designer (an individual or a team) responsible for the illustration design and layout of the communication tools of We Lead following We Lead's communication strategy.
Scope of Work
The following task will be delivered by the selected consultant:
· Develop various communications tools for campaign and awareness-raising: poster for a social media channel, e-invitation poster, PowerPoint presentation template;
· Develop a wide range of graphics, layouts, and product illustrations with software such as Photoshop with its communication strategy guideline
Knowledge, Experiences and Competencies
We are seeking an Indonesian team / organization with the following qualities:
· Proven graphic designing experience
· A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
· Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
· A keen eye for aesthetics and details
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
· Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
