YCAB Foundation is the founding and flagship organization in YCAB Social Enterprise Group. Established in 1999, YCAB believes in the power of education to improve welfare. Our vision is to see a thriving world where youth and mothers are empowered through love, hope, and opportunity to be liberated from generational poverty in sustainable ways. YCAB is now exploring ways to implement the last link in its change model, that is, to create a sustainable system whereby students who graduate and become entrepreneurs or employed can pay it forward. They do this by giving back or investing in a mutual fund to help grow and scale YCAB's mission-driven microfinance so that YCAB can empower even more youths to take control of their own destiny.

[HEAD OF COMMUNICATION]
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the continued development and use of the YCAB brand
- Oversee, or execute as needed, all copy intended for public consumption to ensure its alignment with the strategic communications plan
- Oversee, or execute as needed, the development of digital communications, including YCAB's website, monthly digital newsletter and other digital communications
- Oversee, or execute as needed, the development of all print and branded materials (annual report, organization profile, etc).
- Curate content and increase audience engagement on YCAB's social media channels
- Exercise judgment to prioritize media opportunities, and prepare talking points, speeches, presentations and other supporting material as needed
- Serve as lead point person on media interactions that help promote and/or impact the organization and actively cultivate and manage press relationships to ensure coverage of issues of strategic importance to the sector, as well as YCAB's programs, special events, and other projects
- Manage communication & achieve brand awareness/marketing target to support partnership/crowdfunding
- Maintain and improve YCAB's brand equity
- Manage relationships with any communications related vendors or consultants
- Collaborate with other departments to support fundraising activities, projects, and others as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor, preferably in communication, marketing or business
- Having a minimum 3 years of experience in the field of marketing and communication
- Having a minimum 2 years of experience as a Leader or managerial position with proven track record
- Experience with communication/creative agencies will be added advantage
- Proficient in English both verbal and written.
- Able to manage marketing communication & achieve brand awareness/marketing target
- Able to communicate and work together as well build cooperation with other functions in order to achieve the planned strategic objectives
- Ability to lead and work in a team
- Able to work in tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to the public, and other external sources
- Have a good knowledge and experience with social media, press release, media production, communication techniques and methods
- Have an analytical thinking & strategic mindset
- Have a good communication & presentation skill
- Detail oriented
- Familiar with organizing events, webinar and campaigns
- Have a good sense of Graphic Design will be advantage
