Yayasan KNCV Indonesia promotes effective, efficient, innovative and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in Indonesia. We are an organization of passionate TB professionals, including doctors, researchers, training experts, and epidemiologists. We aim to stop the spread of the TB epidemic and to prevent the further spread of drug-resistant TB.

Currently, Yayasan KNCV Indonesia is looking for:

 

Senior Technical Officer - HIV

Duty Station: DKI Jakarta

 

The Senior Technical Officer – HIV will lead in HIV related technical area, specifically in adapting IEC for CST officers and CSO. She/He also will provide quality technical assistance to increase coverage of VL testing and EID in project areas.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Work with the relevant stakeholders to adapt and disseminate the VL testing video materials and IEC materials for community engagement and peer group support in project areas.
• Plan, develop and conduct demand generation to socialize the VL and EID testing referral mechanism among clinical care providers including general practitioner, pediatrician, gynecologists, HIV officers at District Health Offices (DHOs) and Provincial Health Offices (PHOs), Civil Society Organization (CSO) implementers and related program stakeholder in project areas.
• Facilitate the integrated workshops for demand generation of VL testing and EID among clinicians, pediatricians, gynecologists, professional organizations, and other relevant stakeholders using adapted IEC materials in collaboration with WHO country office and other partners in project areas.
•  Support the development of SOPs for plasma specimen transportation in project areas are adapted for training based on local characteristic (situation and condition).
• Conduct monitoring and supervisory visits to underperform facilities in project areas in coordination with Project Coordinator.
•  Facilitate meetings to evaluate the effectiveness of the project and summarize lessons learned with key stakeholders from central, provincial and district levels.
• Support in the finalization of project work plan.
• Support the preparation of project reports as per request by TGF and MoH.
• Assist the project coordinator in ensuring technical soundness of project staff's works.

Qualifications and Competencies:  

1. Educational Qualification:

• Medical Doctor/Officer preferably with NGO background.

2. Competencies :

• 3 - 5 years working experience working with health programs. Experience working in HIV/AIDS highly preferred
• Experience providing technical assistance and/or program monitoring & evaluation to the Ministry of Health
• Experience working in partnership with health programs supported by international agencies is highly preferred
• Demonstrate strong relationships and coordination with HIV Program at the national and/or provincial levels preferred
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to measure the outcomes of project activities and to support project implementation
• Ability to work in a team environment, while also completing individual tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good facilitation skills
