Aside from housing, Habitat Indonesia also participates in providing clean water and better sanitation system, as well as renovating and building schools. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat Indonesia is seeking the expertise of a Finance & Compliance Manager to prepare budget & donor reports in line with SUN system, ensure compliance to policies, review financial reports, assist in preparing the annual budget, work with the external and internal auditor.

 

FINANCE & COMPLIANCE MANAGER (FOM)

 

Key Responsibility :

1. Monitor incoming receipts from donors and project expenses and prepare donor reports on time and in line with agreements.

2. Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.

3. Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously.

4. Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.

5. Draft, modify and implement organizational policies.

6. Collaborate with the HR department to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.

7. Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.

8. Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.

9. Prepare reports for senior management as appropriate.

10. Internal Audit :

a. Design internal audit procedures and work programs.

b. Conduct internal audits to assess the established internal controls and procedures' adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency.

c. Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and report significant issues to senior management.

d. Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan.

e. Monitor the timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit reports.

 

Job Requirements :

 

1. Proven experience min. 6 years as an Finance or Accounting manager.

2. In-depth knowledge of the Foundation/ NGO standards and regulations.

3. Excellent knowledge of Financial Management, Report, and Accounting Standard (PSAK).

4. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping.

5. A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.

6. Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.

7. An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations.

8. Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian.

9. BSc/BA in finance, business administration, or related field.
