KOMPAK Program

KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:

  1. Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
  2. Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
  3. Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.

 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Research and Evaluation Lead, the Performance Program Coordinator will coordinate specific duties for the Communications and Knowledge Management Lead, and provide support to the Performance Team, particularly the Research and Evaluation and the Communications and Knowledge Management Units. This role will assist with administrative and financial operations duties, as well as engaging with the wider KOMPAK team and other relevant stakeholders.

 

Key Duties

  1. Provide effective administrative, operational, and financial support to the Performance team's non-event activities, to ensure that activities run smoothly and are compliant with all KOMPAK Policies and Procedures
  2. In consultation with the Operations team, responsible to support the Performance Team in preparing for and carrying out events (workshops, seminars)
  3. In consultation with the Operations team, responsible for supporting the Performance Team on goods and services procurement, and payments to the implementing partners/suppliers, in line with KOMPAK policies and procedures
  4. Support the Performance team in compiling documentations for BAST process
  5. Facilitate the Performance Team's workshop/knowledge sharing sessions
  6. Undertake all other duties as reasonably directed by the Performance Director, the Research and Evaluation Lead and the Communications and Knowledge Management Lead

 

Key Requirements

  1. Bachelor in the socio-economic field or relevant fields
  2. At least 5 years of experience in managing administrative and financial needs for team or social development project
  3. Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  4. Ability to plan, organize, implement, and report on work deliverables
  5. Proven record of strong client relations, with ability to work in complex situations, including in providing prompt and quality response to client requests
  6. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including to effectively communicate internally/externally, share information with colleagues, clients and the management
  7. Ability to work well in a team
  8. Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion
