Nutrition International (NI) has been implementing high-impact, high-coverage health, and nutrition initiatives for vulnerable communities in Indonesia since 2006. NI's priority objectives in Indonesia include the survival and health of children, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating women as well as women of reproductive age, primarily through improved coverage and use of key micronutrients, such as vitamin A, zinc, iron and folic acid as well as wheat flour fortification and iodized salt.
The Better Investment for Stunting Alleviation (BISA) project is an integrated nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive project designed jointly by Save the Children and Nutrition International (BISA team) to assist the Government of Indonesia (GoI) to realise the goal of the National Strategy to Accelerate Stunting Prevention (2018-2024). BISA targets two Provinces – West Java (WJ) and East Nusa Tenggara (ENT).
The main goal of BISA is to translate the national level government stunting reduction strategy and agenda into effective action at the sub-national level, specifically in the provinces of West Java and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), with enhanced district-level support to West Bandung, Sumedang, Kupang and North Central Timor (TTU), and targeted villages in these districts.
The Power of Nutrition and Nutrition International through the BISA program intends to showcase human-interest stories through written, visual and in other media, through various collaterals to communicate the impact of our partnership. The human-interest stories are about the children, women, and families who benefit from the BISA program.
NI invites quotations from the Photographers with necessary experience in carrying out similar photography assignments in community setting for West Java and East Nusa Tenggara (ENT) Provinces.
