PROSPERA - Senior Adviser (Pension Program for Informal Sector Workers)
The role
Prospera seeks a Senior Adviser (Pension Program for Informal Sector Workers) that will focus on pension program for informal sector workers. This position will support the work of Prospera in writing a paper based on the survey regarding pension system for informal sector workers that feeds into the Grand Design of Indonesia’s Pension which currently being drafted by Badan Kebijakan Fiskal (BKF). This activity aims to help BKF in crafting the policy proposal.
The Senior Adviser will help Prospera in writing a paper based on the survey regarding pension system for informal sector workers that feeds into the main paper.
· Provide technical inputs for survey questionnaire
· Writing a paper on pension system for informal workers as ways to increase coverage of the pension program.
· Attending meetings with Prospera and Counterparts (BKF) to discuss the paper and survey.

About you (Selection Criteria)
The Senior Adviser is expected to possess strong qualifications and experience to support technical area and policy-making processes, including:
· Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in research and writing papers/journal.
· Minimum Master’s Degree in economics or public policy (PhD is preferable).
· Have experience in writing paper on pension issues in Indonesia, with topic in pension for informal sector workers is preferable.
· Broad understanding on the issues on pension sector from regulatory and industry overview.
· Familiarity with the Indonesian financial services sector and strong understanding particularly about non-bank financial institutions sector.
· Excellent communication skills with fluency in Indonesian and English (both written and oral), including advocacy and presentation skills.
· Proven ability to write a concise report in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
· Ability to work under strict time limits and apply high production and technical standards for the purpose of maintaining high level of professionalism.
About the program
Prospera is a partnership facility between the Government of Australia (through Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) and the Government of Indonesia. It aims to foster strong, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth in Indonesia. Commencing from 1 March 2018, Prospera is a planned five-year investment.
Remuneration
The remuneration will be set according to National Remuneration Framework Group C, Job Level 3. The remuneration level at which the Senior Adviser (Pension Program for Informal Sector Workers) is engaged will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant skills and experience. The role is based in Jakarta.
