Terms of Reference

Atma Connect is an award winning technology nonprofit, with extensive operations in Indonesia. Our mobile app, AtmaGo, delivers real-time, crowd-sourced solutions and information to over 8 million people in Indonesia. Since our 2015 launch in Indonesia, we have built a community of users who share breaking news on fires, floods, shared critical information to help slow the spread of Covid-19; report problems in their neighborhood; post on jobs and organize community resilience events.

We recently launched a feature on AtmaGo to help community organizations track, quantify, document and share their impact, such as - trees planted, garbage collected, resources distributed. We are also launching a way for Corporations and local governments to connect directly with civil society and those community organizations to directly support this impact being created by people in local communities. 

We are seeking a leader for Business Development and Partnerships who will identify and sell our Corporate Social Responsibility platform and impacts to companies who are looking to increase their impact: csr.atmago.com.

Atma Connect is seeking an entrepreneurial, self-directed, experienced, and collaborative Business Development and Partnerships Lead to lead our business development, partnerships development, and impact in Indonesia. This is an entrepreneurial, multifunctional, collaborative role: you'll work on solving hard problems; increasing the impact, reach and success of social change efforts led by community organizations, and help to connect Companies with real impact and impact makers on the ground through the CSR Bridge platform. 

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing and plans to engage Corporations with operations in Indonesia who have either emerging or established CSR programs.
• Develop a sales process and pipeline to introduce AtmaGo CSR Bridge program to these companies.
• Develop partnerships with Companies to generate impact through funding community organizations and their verified impact through AtmaGo CSR Bridge.
• Lead business development for Indonesia, bringing in revenue contracts to sustain and grow our operations.
• Interface closely with the product team to ensure the AtmaGo CSR Bridge product is delivering on Company needs and contract requirements, and ensure client needs are met through development of dashboards and other outputs. 
• Interface closely with the Growth Team to ensure the pipeline of community projects meets needs of CSR Impact requirements, and that effective communication and outputs are produced.
• Create quarterly and annual OKRs for business development, create implementation plans to achieve these OKRs, monitor and report progress CSR Bridge.

You...

• Have multiple years of experience in business development and/or leading and launching national or international technology products, with a track record of taking on increasing responsibility and leadership
• Are a strategic thinker, resourceful, entrepreneurial, a connector of dots and people, a natural problem-solver, and an analytical, data-driven decision-maker.
• Bring an operations mindset: you enjoy (1) taking a systems thinking approach to define and improve processes (2) rolling up your sleeves in service of a cause, even if the work is not always glamorous.
• Based in Indonesia
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English

Bonus Points For

• Past experience with business development, team leadership, digital marketing,technology products.
• Facility with Google Ads, FB ads, digital marketing. 
• Previous work with Corporate CSR and ESG.
• Familiarity with nonprofits and, specifically, with technology and international organizations is a bonus. An interest in community resilience and empowerment is helpful, but not required—as long as you are intellectually curious enough to learn about our niche over time.

Compensation: Contract compensation depends on experience and will be competitive and commensurate with other positions in the field. We are committed to the personal and professional growth of all staff. Benefits include flexible work hours and remote work.
