Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty.
Country Purpose:
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003, and officially became the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sector for the programme include:

The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi and Jakarta Province and will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking:
1. Community Mobilizer of DRR based in Palu
2. Community Mobilizer of Livelihood based in Palu
Reporting Line:
Post holder would directly report to DRR Officer under the overall guidance and supervision of Area Coordinator.
Job Summary:
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the DRR Officer and Area Coordinator The Community Mobilizer for DRR and Livelihood will support DRR officer and Area Coordinator Central Sulawesi in the implementation of the project activities in collaboration with the local government and other relevant stakeholders including community leaders and members in the target areas. The Community Mobilizer will also organize project activities at the community level under guidance from the DRR Officer and in consultation with implementing partners, BPBD, and community local leaders, including facilitation of various meetings community level. This position will be based in Palu, with regular travel to village target for implementation of program activities, coordination with the head of villages, villages DRR Group and community livelihood group and other implementing partners
Responsibilities:
· Implement all the activities plan according to the work plan
· Support Area Coordinator to develop and implement a social mobilization plan for enhanced community awareness in DRR with direct support from reporting social Support Coordinator Project to implementation activity
· Day to day to communication and discussion with the community to strengthen capacity and resilience village and livelihood community development
· Prepared Community Meeting with the Community village target
· With the local community prepare and formulated activity Implementation.
· Prepared and facilitated meetings with the head of villages and faith leaders at the village target.
· Facilitate and assist the community to formulate a community action Plan.
· Facilitate and assist the community to formulate Standard Operational procedures.
· Facilitated and assisted the community to formulated regulations village level.
· Make daily reports.
Key Competencies:
· Demonstrate qualities of oral and written communication skills, cultural sensitivity; ability to work in teams, and operate in emergency environments
· experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including web-based survey tools
· Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English both oral and writing
· Experienced in emergency response is preferable
Skills:
· Demonstrated ability to conduct/oversee Community meeting, etc.
· Proven experience in cash and voucher assistance management is preferred
· Able to write a report in Bahasa
· Flexible
· Knowledge and practical understanding of and ability to work within both relief and development NGO contexts.
· Computer literate.
Experience/Education:
· Graduate degree (S1) in development, social sciences or related field.
· At least 1 year of professional experience in the organize Community meetings, Community Development, including Community-based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM), and livelihood preferably working experience in an international organization
· Skill and experience in partnership/working with/facilitating local NGO partner
· Strong skills and broad experience in community organizing
· Has to experience in applying participatory tools and is able to facilitate Focus Group discussions (FGD), interviews, observations, and surveys.
Strong interest in development work with respect for confidentiality and commitment to YRII overall aims and objectives, including gender, equality and equal opportunities in all aspects of YRII's work.
