The Indonesian Institute for Energy Economics (IIEE) was established in 1995 with the primary objective to enhance energy economics studies that motivate and support national policies for prudent development and utilization of energy resources in Indonesia. IIEE focuses its works on energy economics, related policy, and the respective implementations. IIEE is well respected for its independent studies and active role in key policy processes.
We are looking for a Senior Researcher located in Jakarta with the qualifications and requirements below:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the field of engineering, science, or economics; a master's degree in energy technology/policy/economics would be an advantage;
• Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in energy economic, policy, and environmental issues particularly in energy;
• Deep understanding and skills in technical analysis;
• Computer literate is a must, candidate with skill and experience in energy systems modeling (preferably LEAP software) is an advantage;
· Experience in engagement with the government sector is preferable;
· Skills in report writing, both at the academic and business level;
· Presentation skills both in Indonesia and English;
• Having strong drive, positive attitude & personality, good in communication, honest, adaptive, assertive, and well-motivated;
• Able to work under a tight schedule, independently or in a team
