Plan Indonesia is presently implementing its third country strategic plan (CS4) developled for five years covering fiscal year 2017 to 2022, where the country objective has been defined as "to identify and facilitate the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and participating fully in Indonesian society". This goal will be achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and projects. An effective and efficient communications strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position Plan's profile within and outside at different levels – starting from community, sub district, district to national, regional and international levels.

The position has a functional relationship with all programme/project staff of PU and Projects for developing effective program plan, provide technical inputs to implement and monitor to deliver quality program and advocacy outputs of country office projects. The person is responsible for ensuring that best practices are incorporated into the project design and strategy and monitor project quality throughout the organization.

- The position holder is responsible to ensure that best practices are incorporated into the project design and strategy and monitor project quality throughout the organization.
- Responsible to have a functional Provide technical support and advice to PU technical staff and build their capacity. Ensure that learning takes place and is applied.
- Has to be creative to efficiently use the different levels of expertise of the program IT -team so the Program activities are carried out smoothly at Country and Project Office level. Guiding the project team and building their capacity is part of the responsibility of the position holder.
- Must have good analytical skills and adequate knowledge of programming so the position holder can promote Plan's work and achievement through writing for internal and external.
- Needs to possess in-depth understanding of the program Information Technology aspects so he/she can effectively strategies program Information Technology plan and come up with need based solution.
