Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Platform (MEL-P)
Graphic Design Consultant
Background
Panagora Group, a small, woman-owned business providing novel and integrated solutions in global health and international development, is supporting USAID/Indonesia to implement its new Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) through a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Platform (MEL-P) Activity. MEL-P provides its services through five components: 1) monitoring support services, 2) designing and conducting performance and impact evaluations, 3) providing research, assessment, and data analysis, 4) providing consulting and advisory services and logistical support services, and 5) initiating collaboration, learning, and adapting activities. Along with enhancing MEL capability, we also promote use of the empirical evidence for programming, learning, and adapting as USAID supports the Government of Indonesia (GOI).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Graphic Design Consultant will support MEL-P's Communications Specialist in developing visual communications products in accordance with USAID Branding and Marking Plan and other relevant guidelines.
The support provided include but are not limited to:
· Meet with MEL-P's Communications Specialist to provide advice on the design and visual of communications related materials developed by MEL-P.
· Propose and/or develop design communications materials (presentation materials, one-pager, infographic, poster, leaflet, flyer, report, etc).
· Revise the design of the communication materials incorporating MEL-P's and USAID's feedback.
· Finalize the communications products and share the products in various types as needed.
· Other relevant duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline is required.
· 5 years of working experience in graphic design.
· Experience in working with USAID projects or other international project is preferred.
· Familiarity working with design software, such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
· Proven skills and knowledge in successfully designing communications materials.
· Strong artistic skills.
· Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
· Fluency in English is required, both written and oral.
· Open only to Indonesian citizens.
Reporting
The consultant will be supervised directly by the MEL-P's Communications Specialist.
Period of Performance
The estimated level of effort for the STTA for Graphic Design Consultant will be 120 days. The duration of the assignment would intermittently cover the period July 2022 – July 2023.
