Yayasan Indonesia Cerah ("CERAH") is a non-profit organisation established on 11 October 2018. The organisation focuses on the issues of clean energy and the environment. CERAH promotes the narrative of shifting Indonesia's policy in energy transition as a leader in providing strategic communication to amplify key messages in the narrative of clean energy and its transition in Indonesia, cultivating and enhancing stakeholder engagement and providing recommendations to policymakers.
CERAH has been collaborating with multiple stakeholders and prominent figures, the media, and civil society organisations to educate and raise awareness, highlighting issues such as good governance and corruption, air pollution and the health impact of energy choices and renewable energy future and how that affects lifestyle and jobs.
CERAH, funded by Ford Foundation, will implement "The Mitigation of Narrative and Social Polarisation in Indonesia's Just Energy Transition". The program is scheduled to run from 1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023. The goal of this program is to increase public awareness and the emergence of energy transition champions in both urban and rural areas in Indonesia that support the achievement/target of the energy transition at the local and national levels. We are looking for a Digital Specialist to provide support to the overarching goal of the program and work closely with the Program Manager and Program Assistant.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Support the Program Manager in achieving the project goals, especially in meeting the completion of each digital-based output.
2. Together with the digital team, assist in creating and implementing digital strategies for project outcomes, particularly in finding innovative ways to test the effectiveness of narratives on energy transition through multiple social media platforms.
3. The digital specialist, in parallel, must be able to align the overarching goal of Cerah's as an organisation and meet the specific program's goal.
4. Coordinate with other relevant strategic partners to optimise digital message testing to key audiences based on the prepared strategy.
5. Coordinate and supervise the work of a third party service providers.
6. Evaluating the results of the digital strategy implemented to be reported to the team based on insight reading and data analysis.
- Actively involved in the preparation and implementation of project activities, especially to obtain high quality documentation for activity reports and content materials.
- Assist in the dissemination of project results with relevant stakeholders.
- Another task (s) as assigned Program Manager.

Requirements:
- Candidates must be passionate about issues on the environment, in particular climate change.
- Preferably a minimum of two (2) years of work experience at a non-profit communications department or digital agency.
- Possess strong organisational experience, communication skills, and ability to work independently and remotely.
- Have experience in utilising and optimising social media monitoring tools to formulate campaign strategies and narrative options.
- Has the ability to collect data, analyse, and provide a comprehensive breakdown of the effectiveness and provide advice in improving digital strategy creation and implementation.
- Excellent command of English and Indonesian, both orally and in writing.
- Able to contribute a creative idea and or direct the production of digital assets for placement across various social media platforms.
Duration and Fee:
The position will hold a fix-term contract from 1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023. The remuneration will be based on qualification, competency, and salary history. We will cover personal income tax, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, BPJS Kesehatan, and private insurance.
