Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty
Country Purpose:
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003, and officially became the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sector for the programme include:
• Water and Sanitation
• Sustainable livelihood
• Education
• Child Welfare
• Shelter
• Disaster Risk Reduction
• Climate Change
The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi and Jakarta Province and will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Community Mobilizer based in Lombok - Indonesia.
Reporting Line:
Post holder would directly report to Area Coordinator.
Overall Responsibility:
The community mobilizer will work closely with the community and wider stakeholders of project: Community + Religious leaders, local government, most vulnerable family and children, livelihood and child protection officer, community mobilizer, Micro Finance Syariah consultant, Livelihood material supplier, livelihood business trainer, local Bank, Village platform body, village level government. He/ she will be as the Community mobilizer along with the community mobilizer assistant as local personnel in the village area will be facilitating series of project activities under the coordination of the Child Protection and livelihood officer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identification and selection of project beneficiaries based on agreed criteria and identified vulnerability
· Arrange and manage the collection of beneficiaries' data, baseline, and end line project data
· Forming SHG/ KUM among the selected targeted beneficiaries
· Organizing and facilitating different theme and purpose of community and project stakeholders meeting
· Assisting beneficiaries in developing livelihood proposal and purchasing the livelihood material/ productive asset
· Arrange and manage series of livelihood training for the project beneficiaries
· Assess and identify most vulnerable children in the previous 2 village ALO phase 1 project and 1 new village in West Lombok to receive: registration of social insurance support, treatment of severe illness/ disability through referral system, and Re registration of 25 school dropout children in to formal school or existing community education institution
· Arrange and manage awareness raising and capacity building on Child Protection, Education, and Gender in SHG/ KUM Activity
Skills & Requirements:
· Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field like; Social science advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 2-3 years experience.
· Knowledge of education, child protection & livelihood Program
· Demonstrated experience in the involvement of community development program in the sector of livelihood, child protection, education, and gender.
Strong interest in development work with respect for confidentiality and commitment to YRII overall aims and objectives, including gender, equality and equal opportunities in all aspects of YRII's work.
