Yayasan Tambuhak Sinta (YTS), a Kalimantan-based foundation head-quartered in Palangka Raya, is striving to improve the quality of governance and well-being in areas affected by mineral development activities, and is working closely with communities, local government and extractive companies to achieve this objective.
Currently we are looking for an experienced training & capacity building professional from the development sector, who has the capability of developing and delivering training and capacity-building for partners in communities and government; also improving competencies of YTS Staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement relevant and effective training programs and packages for partners, including villagers, projects, CSOs, and local government;
2. Assist in developing relevant learning and training materials;
3. Create a human resource development plan for YTS staff, based on needs analysis;
1. Implement key components of the plan resulting in staff with improved skills and performance;
4. Organise technical support for projects, when needed;
5. Develop a comprehensive TOR for each capacity building activity;
6. Develop training modules together with technical experts and the Information & Communication Team;
7. Document the processes, activities, and results using various media;
8. Liaise, coordinate, and collaborate with other staff, as required
9. Other duties as required
This is the background experience and qualities we require:
ü Ten years experiences with training for participatory community development;
ü Good language skills – English and Bahasa Indonesia, Dayak desirable;
ü University degree in a relevant subject;
ü Good verbal and written communication skills;
ü Work experience in multi-cultural settings;
ü Good team coordination, facilitation, and supervision skills;
ü Good computer skills – word processing, spreadsheet, media, internet;
ü Able to travel and work in remote areas.
