Transparency, Accountability and Anti-Corruption Activity Manager


Program Background

DT Global supports the implementation of the Australia–Indonesia Partnership for Justice 2. AIPJ2 is an eight-year program that aims to support co-operation between Australian and Indonesian institutions and civil society organisations (CSOs) in order to contribute to the overall goal of:

Strong and accessible justice and security institutions that enhance respect for enforceable rights and rules-based governance systems, over time contributing to stability and prosperity in Indonesia and the region.

 

The Partnership is strategically aligned to achieve the Government of Indonesia (GOI) partner's policies,

implementation plans, budgets, and practices that:

  • increase transparency and accountability in justice institutions
  • reduce overcrowding in correctional facilities through restorative justice in the criminal justice system
  • improve the ease of doing business through reforms to commercial case handling
  • help prevent violent extremism in prisons, on release and in schools; and
  • support bilateral and regional cooperation in transnational crime investigations.
  • preventing child marriage
  • protecting victims of sexual violence; 
  • ensuring family support after divorce; and
  • improved access to justice for people with disabilities, especially in the COVID response.

The Role
Join Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Justice 2 (AIPJ2) as a Transparency, Accountability and Anti-Corruption Activity Manager to ensure effective implementation and reporting of the activities in the Transparency and Accountability in Justice Institutions (TAJI) strategy and work with other managers and partners to promote a corruption prevention perspective across AIPJ2. The role shall coordinate, network and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on TAJI and corruption prevention at the national level and sub-national level and be a contributor to the Knowledge Hub.

About You

You will be a motivated and proactive Transparency, Accountability and Anti-Corruption Activity Manager with the right combination of talent, energy and a commitment to technical excellence. You will also have:

  • Bachelor/Post Graduate Degree in social sciences, humanities, or relevant sector and at least 5 years' experience implementing programs and activities in a donor-funded program environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and significant research and policy development experience, with a strong grasp of knowledge to policy concepts and the ability to quality control
  • Demonstrated understanding of transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption and how to overcome barriers in the focus area
  • Experience in developing relationships and implementing programs at national and subnational levels
  • Experience working with civil society networks in Indonesia, including an understanding of the challenges they face in governance and management
  • Knowledge and experience of Australian Government Aid program management, sound understanding of risk management and human resources systems and processes. 
  • Program management, experience in budgeting and reporting to DFAT is highly desirable.
  • High-level interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications skills and an exceptional ability to develop and maintain results-focused stakeholder relationships in a complex environment.


Remuneration
Based on the experience of the successful candidate and current market rates.
