- The post holder reports to Project Manager
- The position will ensure all the TVET-related project achievement meet the target as stated in project proposal and DIP as well as Plan country strategy program
- The position will provide technical assistance and advice including review, develop, and modify curriculum, online learning materials, modules and lesson plan, as well as digital platform related with training delivery
- The position will ensure the quality of TVET program meet the project expectation
- The position will develop the mentoring and job-seeking assistance system
- The position will also support the Senior Project Manager/Project Manager in the area of TVET including develop the networking with stakeholders in this area and working together with related stakeholder in relation with the development of TVET Products.
- Another tasks that the supervisor required
- Represent YPII in exchange of information and community of practice forums and events at National, Regional and Global level as requested by Project Manager.
Program Quality
- Provide critical technical input into the strategy, design, indicators and proposed detailed implementation plan of project Technical Vocational and Education Training program.
- Development online and off line learning lesson plan.
- Monitor TVET delivery quality and ensure the program achieve its goal and objective
- Alert Project Manager and coordinate with internal related staff as well as external stakeholder (if required) if there are any variations from initially agreed workplan and TVET strategy
- Develop relations and network with stakeholders to lead certification/accreditation process.
- Building relations with training institutions (government and private based) to increase reach & possibility
- In charge of the use of internal LMS platform and if necessary collate information on external LMS or other related TVET digital platform to ensure the relevance of delivery method in COVID 19 context
Building Capacity
- In collaboration with TVET stakeholder, develop ToT materials to be used in delivering the online and offline training
- Advise other project staff member on ways to improve project quality
- Providing capacity building for appointed partner to deliver high quality training which ensure safety and health concern in COVID 19 context
- Monitor and Evaluate performance of partners and consultants in relation with curriculum, modules and delivery of the training
- Support continuous learning of other technical staff through workshops, seminars and conferences.
Learning
- Documented learning in project documents and reports
- Share learning and best practices and insure that they are incorporated into future work
- Help to develop and oversee ToRs for TVET-related activities.
- Ensure up to date with current trends of TVET, online learning content and methodology and YEE in covid context nationally and globally
- Conduct continuous search for innovation and improved learning program practices within and outside Plan Indonesia to pursue continuous program improvement
Networking and Advocacy
- Initiate and maintain relationship with TVET institutions that can support the achievement of the project
- Networking and coordination with general TVET stakeholder
- Represent YPII in TVET related forums as requested by Project Manager
Safeguarding of Children and Young People
Ensures that Plan International's global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International's Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
Internal
- Project Manager: provide technical support, mentoring and capacity building on project implementation
- Project Field Coordinators: liaise and coordinate for technical support in relation with TVET practices
- MER Coordinator: liase and coordinate in MER supporting activities in relation with TVET
- Advisors: Inform and consult to solicit technical support for cross-cutting issue to ensure it is mainstreamed in project activities
External
- YES! Digital Team: coordinate for technical support in online learning materials
- INCO Digital Team: coordinate for technical support in online learning materials.
- Implementing partners: provide support and capacity building for TVET activities
- TVET Consultants: assess and review deliverables to ensure quality
- Ministry or other Related Stakeholder: consolidated input for the curriculum and modules, support the adoption of TVET products
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Essential
- Bachelor degree in education, psychology or any related field
- At least 3 years of experience in TVET, with practical knowledge on e-learning and LMS platforms
- Good analytical skill
- Good interpersonal communication and facilitation skills for mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Able to work both in team and independently with minimum supervision
Desirable
- Masters degree in education, psychology or other related social science
- Knowledge on LMS for online learning
- Existing networks with industries and TVET institutions
- Experience in TVET for development projects focusing on Youth Economic Empowerment and gender equality
