Do you have experience in finance work with accountancy qualifications such as bachelor's degree in relevant field of Accounting/Finance, with demonstrable ability to produce and reconcile financial statements?

 

Do you have experience finance and accounting with sufficient financial management knowledge including budgeting, analytical, forecasting, compliance, and reporting?

 

Do you have experience supporting and advising teams from a distance and across a number of locations.  Ability and sensitivity of working with diverse teams across different languages, cultures and locations and relationship building skills necessary to work collaboratively with others, and provide guidance on financial management issues?

Required skills and Compentencies:

This role requires some skills and competencies:

  • At least two years' experience in finance work with accountancy qualifications such as bachelor's degree in relevant field of Accounting/Finance, with demonstrable ability to produce and reconcile financial statements.
  • Qualification in finance and accounting with sufficient financial management knowledge including budgeting, analytical, forecasting, compliance, and reporting                         .
  • Strong knowledge of statutory and accounting standards including Indonesia's Tax requirements. 
  • Team working Experience in supporting and advising teams from a distance and across a number of locations. Ability and sensitivity of working with diverse teams across different languages, cultures and locations and relationship building skills necessary to work collaboratively with others, and provide guidance on financial management issues.
  • IT Skills: Excellent in in Excel, also some accounts packages, word, email and ability to work in Oxfam programme databases.
  • Training/ coaching skills .
  • Data analysis: Demonstration of ability to assess, analyse and report on complex data. 
  • Organisation to work effectively. Ability to work on own initiative, manage workload and competing demands without close supervision, drive to achieve results. 
  • Commitment to the aims of Oxfam and the parameters of its program implementation, in particular the gender and diversity policies. 
  • Commitment to Oxfam's overall aims, objectives and values including commitment to diversity and promoting gender equity in all aspects of work.
  • Strong organisational skills and efficient time management, ability to work on multiple tasks and priorities.

 

 

What we are looking for

 

We are looking for a treasury finance officer who will be expected to contribute actively to the development of country financial systems & procedures and monitor their adherence at all level. To be held accountable for the accuracy of the financial information and keeping the financial system updated of the Indonesia Programme.
