Yayasan Cipta formerly known as YCCP is a non profit organization established in 2008 with expertise and long experience in advocacy, behaviour change,  community mobilization, social marketing and social research. The expertise and broad experience of Yayasan Cipta are covering the area of health, environment including water, sanitation, hygiene, environmental conservations, Family Planning, Reproductive Health, infectious diseases, Mother and Child health, Nutrition.  Funded by the USAID, Yayasan Cipta is working together with the Wahana Visi Indonesia  in the Partnership to Accelerate Stunting Reduction in Indonesia (PASTI) Program. PASTI Program aims to contribute to the acceleration of  stunting reduction and improvement of nutrition status in government priority provinces by 2026. Relevant to the program Yayasan Cipta's focus locations Provinces are in Banten and East Java.

In support to the above background Yayasan Cipta at the moment is in urgent need for :

 

Position Title:  1 (one) District Coordinator – Banten

 

Position Base:  The position holder will be based in the relevant focus location


GENERAL PURPOSE:

 

Reporting to the Provincial Team Leader  – PASTI Project, the District Coordinator  Key duties will include project management and coordination with stakeholders including reporting.  Coordinating and working together with and through the partners including government counterparts at sub-national level for project implementation.

 

1.     Strategy Development & Planning

  • Contribute in the preparation the development of Project's annual operating plan
  • Prepare the development of project research and baseline
  • Conduct monitoring, reflection and learning with the community and the program team to improve and adapt future programming.
  • Develop sustainability strategy through institutionalizing the community organization

2.     Resource Acquisition & Management

  • Prepare project budgets in consultation with Senior Program Manager and Finance team to ensure funds are spent in alignment with budgets in a timely manner.
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources, in accordance with Yayasan Cipta financial policies and donor's (USAID) requirements.

 3.     Capacity Building

  • Identify and assess capacity of community groups, project staff and local implementing partners in target areas on relevant technical capacities.
  • Provide capacity building to the related partners and project staff in order to achieve the set project goals.
  • Provide technical support, tools, appropriate methods and approach to field staff, local implementing partners and related stakeholders to ensure project quality.
  • Create a Community Learning environment (including children and the marginalized) and encourage communities to share and learn from their own experiences as part of confidence and capacity building.

4.     Accountability & Quality Assurance:

  • To ensure that project implementation is in alignment with project design, organization and donor standards.
  • Monitor project implementation at the community level to ensure effective implementation.
  • Prepare monthly report of project implementation in order to measure project's achievement, obtain lessons learned and improve future programming.
  • Facilitate Advocacy Community Engagement (with its frame of project accountability) with local implementing partners according to project design and shared responsibilities.
  • Ensure the quality of data collection, data analysis and review on assessment, baseline and evaluation of project.

5.     Networking & Coordination:

  • Closely coordinate with local implementing partners to achieve project objectives and support sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain robust networks and dynamic relationships with all relevant stakeholders to support project implementation at project level.
  • Develop robust partnerships with local government, educational institutions, and other local organisations (NGOs/CSOs/FBOs) for shared learning, joint implementation and leveraging of similar peace building projects.
  • Contribute to organizational lesson learned process and promising practices documentation for peace building program

 6.     Management & Leadership:

  • Facilitate effective teamwork, coordination and work planning among field and support staff, including local implementing partners to ensure effective project implementation with quality.
  • Relate and collaborate with local implementing partners, Government, NGOs/CSOs/FBOs, faith leaders, community leaders, corporates, forum or network bodies.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS.

  • Min. 2-3 years' experience in health-related projects, preferably childhood nutrition or mother-children health.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Nutrition or related degree.
  • Have good networking with government counterparts at sub-national level and familiarity with government working group of childhood nutrition such as TPPS. 
  • Good understanding in humanitarian/development project
  • Good Communication skills
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong conceptual understanding in basic DME functions
  • Demonstrated experience in both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. Gender and age group analysis skills preferred.
  • Background in USAID's cross-cutting program priorities, such as gender equality and women's empowerment, youth, etc.
  • Demonstrate ability to share result confidently.
  • Possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills,  interpersonal skills, sensitivity, responsiveness, respectful and helpful towards team members, donors and partners.
  • Plans, coordinates and organize workload while remaining aware of changing Priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Continuously approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude.
  • Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage challenges. 
  • Responds positively to critical feedback and differing points of view.
