The GIZ FORCLIME (Forest and Climate Change) program is one of the technical cooperation programs between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the German Federation. The overall goal of the program is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the forestry sector while improving the livelihoods of poor rural communities in Indonesia.
To achieve this goal, the program team is working together with the Indonesian government to design and implement a number of legal, policy-related, and institutional reforms aimed at forest conservation and sustainable management at the local, provincial, and national levels. The geographical focus of FORCLIME 4.0 is Eastern Indonesia, namely Papua–including South Papua Province, West/Southwest Papua, including Central Sulawesi. These TOR refer to the FORCLIME intervention of West Papua.
In the West Papua Province, FORCLIME partner, consist of West Papua Forestry Service (DISHUT/DKLH) and the Natural Reserve Agency (BBKSDA) and engaged with 4 (four) villages that are supported by FORCLIME. The four villages are Emaus and Bikar Villages in Tambrauw District, Wendi and Haha Villages in Sorong Selatan District.
To achieve the above objective, GIZ FORCLIME 4.0 project is currently seeking an Individual Consultant as a Village Facilitator for capacity building of forest farmer groups at the selected village in West/Southwest Papua. Please refers to the Lot No. for the selected of village information.
