SurfAid is a non-profit organization which aims to improve the health, wellbeing and self-reliance of people living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing. SurfAid has worked in a few locations in Indonesia: Mentawai Islands District in Sumatra Barat, Nias District in Sumatra Utara, Bima District in NTB and Sumba Barat District in NTT. We work in the areas that are considered the most remote, with limited infrastructure and few community empowerment programs working there.
We are looking for an experienced, resourceful person with a positive "CAN DO" attitude who is able to work independently as our:
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning System
(MEALS) SPECIALIST
As part of the Programs Team, the MEALS Specialist is responsible for managing and improving MEALS development and implementation across all SurfAid's Indonesia programs, in line with SurfAid values and donor requirements.
THE PERSON:
You have an independent personality who loves to work collaboratively in a team. Have analytical skills and be able to work with multiple external stakeholders. You are an open minded person, who is interested in remote areas and communities, ready to travel to and live in remote areas with limited facilities.
THE QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES:
Minimum master's degree from any relevant majors: statistics, economy, math or public health
5 years experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in the Development sector
Adept in quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting
Advance microsoft excel and other software for calculating and reporting
"CAN DO" attitude with critical thinking
Strong writing skills for reporting
Have skill in training/ coaching others
Have knowledge of programme design or program cycle
Good understanding in community development principles
Good English and Bahasa Indonesia for formal reporting
