Yayasan Ekosistim Nusantara Berkelanjutan is a non-profit organization that aims to enhance various local initiatives of Tanah Papua at national and international levels to provide support for sustainable management of natural resources in Indonesia. The EcoNusa Foundation was established on July 21, 2017 in Jakarta. EcoNusa encourages the development of the capacity of civil society organizations to conduct advocacy, campaigns, communication, stakeholder engagement, and dialogue among stakeholders to meet the sustainable management of natural resources and promote transparency, conservation, and equality values. To achieve its mission, EcoNusa carries out several programs including Local Community Resilience, Policy Advocacy, Eastern Indonesia Communication Center, and Local Economic Development.

 

The Econusa urgently invites the best, most-talented and highly motivated individuals to apply for the following vacancies:

 

Post title           : Finance Coordinator

Supervisor        : Operations, Finance, HR, and Partnership Director

Duty Station     : Jakarta

Job Type           : Full Time (1 year)

 

PURPOSE OF JOB

The Finance Coordinator under the supervision of the Operations, Finance, HR, and Partnership Director as functions related to the development of an effective and efficient EcoNusa financial system and management based on the transparency and accountability principles.

These functions include planning, budget control, cost analysis, financial reporting of all Econusa activities/programs, taxation and developing organizational financial policies according to EcoNusa's needs.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Review all submissions for advance payments (UM), reimbursements and PJUM which have been checked by the Financial Officer and ensure that all are in accordance with the budget post of each project and the Financial Standards and Procedures.

2.      Sending the results of the review to the Finance Officer for follow-up to each staff and partner.

3.      Monitoring the outstanding advance payment and updating the logbook every weekend.

4.      Coordination with the Grant Unit to prepare budget proposals and documents needed.

5.      Conducting monitoring budget of all projects, cash flow and forecast.

6.      Manage and reconcile all financial projects appropriately.

7.      Prepare the financial reports for each donor and ensure that they are in accordance with the norms and specified format.

8.      Prepare the financial reports for all projects every month (budget versus actual / BVA) and send them to the Director of Operations, Finance, HR and Partnership.

9.      Conducting financial monitoring of partners and third parties, on project activities with analysis of financial statements and audits.

10.   Provide assistance to relevant EcoNusa staff and partners regarding finance, budget design, monitoring and reporting.

11.   Supporting the implementation of the audit in a timely manner and following up on the findings of the Audit.

12.   Ensure that monthly and annual tax deposits and reports are on time according to applicable regulations.


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES

1.      Bachelor's degree (S1) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Taxation.

2.      Minimum 5 years' experience in the same role as a non-governmental organization.

3.      Have good knowledge and experience related to financial management principles (planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and internal control system).

4.      Have experience in making financial reports and analysis, in various Donor formats.

5.      Having skill in spreadsheet and SANGO software and mastering Excel software.

6.      Recent experience and knowledge of the Indonesian tax system.

7.      Have good communication skills and fluency in Indonesian and English (written and spoken).

8.      Demonstrated ability to keep financial information confidential, integrity and have zero tolerance for fraud.

9.      Ability to work to tight financial deadlines and manage priorities.

10.   Ability to capacity builders off Finance Staffs


WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Internal               : Close coordination with Econusa staff

External              : Close coordination with external (auditor, vendor, consultant, service provider, etc.)
