ABOUT Yayasan CARE Peduli (YCP)

Yayasan CARE Peduli (YCP) was established in July 2018 as the national entity that will continue CARE's presence and operations in Indonesia, following its institutional commitment to diversification within the confederation and to the localization of aid and strengthening partnerships with national entities.

CARE believes that this important step in the evolution of CARE's presence in Indonesia will further enhance its more strategic role in both the development and the humanitarian fields.

As a national entity that connected to CARE Confederation, YCP aims to contribute more significantly in addressing and representing national development priorities both in Indonesia and globally as well.  As part of this organizational strengthening, YCP is seeking for committed, resourceful individuals who are passionate about poverty reduction, gender equality and social justice to spearhead YCP's operations and advocacy on those priority issues.

 
Our Need

YCP is seeking to establish a pool of qualified individual consultants who has expertise in gender and social inclusion field.  The consultant is expected to deliver professional services on a short-term technical assistance to streamline gender and inclusive approaches in our programmes and operation design, and implementation in accordance with CARE policy, including training activities.

The engagement will be under a standing offer agreement for a one-year contract. The agreement may be subject to amendment based on an annual review of satisfactory performance.

Qualifications

This role will assist our Programme Team in delivering the gender mainstreaming in our projects in accordance with CARE's gender policy and framework. Therefore, the applicants must be able to demonstrate the following requirements:

·         Proven track record in delivering training on key gender and protection concepts.

·         Familiar with gender monitoring tools, or has previous experience participating in gender assessment is desirable.

·         Flexible and adaptive as our projects require thinking on your feet and being flexible.

·         Ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints, including capability to be flexible to respond to changing requirements. 
       Results-focused with ability to manage own workload proactively, with own initiative.

·         Demonstrated report writing experience is a plus.

·         Ability and willingness to undertake regular travel to the crisis affected area.
