ABOUT Yayasan CARE Peduli (YCP)

Yayasan CARE Peduli (YCP) was established in July 2018 as the national entity that will continue CARE's presence and operations in Indonesia, following its institutional commitment to diversification within the confederation and to the localization of aid and strengthening partnerships with national entities.

CARE believes that this important step in the evolution of CARE's presence in Indonesia will further enhance its more strategic role in both the development and the humanitarian fields.

As a national entity that connected to CARE Confederation, YCP aims to contribute more significantly in addressing and representing national development priorities both in Indonesia and globally as well.  As part of this organizational strengthening, YCP is seeking for committed, resourceful individuals who are passionate about poverty reduction, gender equality and social justice to spearhead YCP's operations and advocacy on those priority issues.

 Our Need

YCP is seeking to establish a pool of qualified individual consultants who can deliver professional services on a short-term technical assistance for proposal development to support our portfolio growth.

Individual consultant who has experiences in one of these following thematic areas is welcome to apply:

- Gender & Social Inclusion;

- WASH;

- Livelihood or Economic Resilience;

- Climate Change or Renewable Energy;

- Health & Nutrition;

- Disaster Risk Management.

 

* Please note that as YCP is looking for a pool of writers, you are not expected to be an expert that will master all of these thematic areas.

The engagement will be under a standing offer agreement for a one-year contract. The agreement may be subject to amendment based on an annual review of satisfactory performance.

Qualifications

This role will provide high-quality writing to assist our Programme and Business Development Teams in developing concept note or technical proposal for potential donors. Therefore, the applicants must be able to demonstrate the following requirements:

·         Proven track record of the succeed concept notes or proposals.

·         Flexible and adaptive as our projects require thinking on your feet and being flexible.

·         Demonstrated English writing experience is essential.

·         Strong spoken and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia are preferred.

·         Experience participating in research projects will be beneficial.
