YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty
Country Purpose:
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003, and officially became the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sector for the programme include:
• Water and Sanitation
• Sustainable livelihood
• Education
• Child Welfare
• Shelter
• Disaster Risk Reduction
• Climate Change
The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi and Jakarta Province and will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Donor Care Officer based in Jakarta – Indonesia.
Reporting Line:
Post holder would directly report to Corporate Fundraising Coordinator
Overall Responsibility:
The donor care officer reports to the Fundraising Coordinator. He/she will have the responsibility to inform, report and contact acquisition and existing donors to achieve predetermined fundraising targets in the fields of zakat, infaq, shodaqoh and waqf (ZISWAQF) and non-ZISWAQF.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of Program Information Materials
· Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for raising public funds
· Prepare a draft in the form of information or material for zakat, infaq, shodaqoh and waqf (ZISWAQF) and non-ZISWAQF programs for blasting (Email, WhatsApp, SMS) with the right formulation
· Exchange opinions and views about programs of interest to new and existing acquisition donors
· Coordinate with marketing communications for the "Winning Program" which will be offered to digital and offline partners
· Provide advice and support to relevant teams on how to best utilize digital channels to maximize the reach of initiatives
2. Cross-Line Coordination (Marketing and Media Communication for fundraising)
· Building new partnerships based on personal donors with digital fundraising officers and media marketing
· Achieve the target of each fundraising projection that has been prepared every month from the public segment
· Increasing public awareness about the vision, mission and programs of Islamic Relief Indonesia with appropriate formulation through blasting materials
· Improve the image and reputation of Islamic Relief as a leading humanitarian organization through blasting up-to-date implementation reports
· With the program coordinator to develop program packages that are of high interest to donors and can be marketed
· Optimizing social media to create donor social forums and brand awareness for each program that is currently active and of interest to donors
3. Develop Event Management together with Loyal Donors
· To participate in large events such as donor gatherings, donor events or studies regarding the interests of each donor
· Responsible for every online and offline event activation (in coordination with event marketing) carried out in order to increase fundraising programs
4. To do Research and Develop Public Donor Acquisitions
· Coordination to hold offline events by targeting visitors as new donors or targeting priority banking customers to capture public databases
· Manage database and categorize existing donors based on each donor's program interests
· Conduct incoming and outgoing calls (careline) from existing donors and acquisition donors
· To utilize the database for brand awareness, disseminate ZISWAQF and non-ZISWAQF program materials via WA blast / Email Blast, call and SMS (FAQ) with standard templates
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor degree or more in relevant fields.
- Vast knowledge of fundraising sector in Indonesia
- High Know how in donor acquisition and retainment
- Ability to advice CEO and Managers on fundraising tactics.
- Well-developed IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft office in particular for presentation purpose
- Ability to supervise and develop Volunteer/Agency Fundraising
- Having proven effective relation and networking with general public companies, charity organization, and key stakeholders for fundraising purpose
- Having database of donors and companies
Experience:
- A 2 years experience of managing fundraising sector
- A proven record of successful fundraising achievement
- Experience of undertaking a range of tasks requiring a high degree of discretion, sensitivity and negotiating skills.
- Experience of working independently and on own initiative
Personal Qualities:
- Good communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills
- Able to work on own initiative and able to be flexible.
- Able to analyse and solve problems from complex information and make an informed decision.
